Worked a bit on my nine-patches ;-))

... and let them disappear !! Tonight I finished the top and got the ironing done, and managed to get a picture outside. Now I'm considering to do a border - or should I just add a white strip all around and call it done?

I don't think it needs a border unless you need it to be bigger.

That's looking great!

I wouldn't put a border on it - I'd put the white binding on it and call her done. She's so busy already, a border might not contribute anything. The white will be just exactly what's needed to tie everything together.

I love borders. It's kind of like framing a picture. I'd love to see white all around this one....

I think you should do a white border with a fade out of some colored small squares, just a few. or maybe just on one side of the border? No matter what it is a fun quilt.

I love these disappearing nine patch! I don't think it needs any fancy borders - it is beautiful as is.

I would add a small white border ( the width of the white strips you use) the I might get crazy and do a scrappy pieced binding with all the dyed fabrics you used.
Just a crazy idea....but whatever you decide will look nice.

Schön ist der geworden! Weißes Binding oder maximal ein weißer Rand, so breit wie die Streifen.

That pattern makes a great quilt and your hand-dyes really work well in it. I would have to try it with or without a border and see what I thought--I have difficulty sometimes imagining additions or changes to quilts and have to try them out.

I may add a white small sashing all around the outside. Probably no border, but do go crazy with the binding.

Love your stuff, Frauke! I'm so glad you have English translation. I don't think the D I made in Herr Critchfield's German 101 will get me very far. :)
