Carrefour 2012 - the exhibition by Uta Lenk

One of the exhibition I was really looking forward to was the one by Uta Lenk. And it was as impressing as I was hoping for!
I loved that she put these two quilts side by side: the left one is the first in her series "Play of Lines" - the one on the right side is No 30!
Uta Lenk: "Linienspiele 1", "Linienspiele 30"

Let me show you two more quilts from Uta's series "Play of Lines" - amazing pieces of art! By the way - Uta pieces her quilts, no wonder-under or stuff like that ... look at all the curved seams !!!
Uta Lenk: "Linienspiele 28"

Uta Lenk: "Linienspiele 24"
Uta started a new series "Shapes" - and I'm really looking forward to see more "Shapes"!
Uta Lenk: "Shapes 2 (?)"

Uta Lenk: "Shapes 1"
Here's the link to Uta's website - she writes in English and German, just pick your language ;-)) Have fun exploring her work !

The quilts that you are working on are also very beautiful. I am loving the blue and orange.

Thanks, Hexle, for the praise and the post. It was quite an experience when I realized how many people had a hard time believing that my quilts are not made with appliqué-techniques or wonderunder or whatever. Glad you liked them - and it was nice to meet you!
